Welcome
to Grosse Pointe Memorial Church. If you are new to our community of faith, please click here for some information especially for you.  For our latest schedule of new member classes, click here.

It is our prayer that all visitors to this site, whether members or people looking for a new church home, will find here a reflection of our church's commitment to the hospitality necessary for calling, equipping, and sending forth disciples of Jesus Christ. Whether you are seeking timely information about our full and active church life, our history, or encouragement for faithful living, we pray you find it here.

Again, welcome and may the Lord bless and keep you.

Our summer schedule is in full swing: outdoor worship (45 minutes) from 8:30-9:15 a.m. and indoor worship at 10:00 a.m. (with our choir).  Bike, scooter or walk to church as we start our summer focus on sustainability: theologically, environmentally, and personally.   Click here to learn more about our sustainably-based worship.  In the next few weeks we will have a hymn sing, a jazz service and some other special features of our worship life.

Our summer life by the lake includes more than worship.  Click here for a full schedule of activities- from kickball and cookouts to Bible study- and join us for our Jubilee life by the lake.

The dates have been set for our next mission trip to Honduras: January 26 - February 3, 2011 and February 12-19, 2011.  Go to our outreach page for a registration form and more information from a recent presentation about the Honduras trips.

Our adult education sub-committee is hard at work on next year's offerings and we need your help.  Click here to go to our online survey.  Your input is vital to continue our growing adult education programs.  Click here to see what happens when you don't give input.

Our planned giving task force has been hard at work on your behalf, raising awareness of the importance of planned giving in the life of GPMC.  To learn more about planned giving, click here.

Children 4 years of age through 4th grade are invited to join us for vacation bible school: August 2-6. Register online at toolkit.thevbsplace.org  or for more information, go to our children's ministries page.
