We’ve been planning this event since last year’s work day.
We’ve heard Chris Lambert talk about it from the pulpit.
We’ve invited many East side churches and community groups to join us.
We’ve asked you to save the date.
NOW it’s time to sign up. Can we count on you?
Please join us for a full day OR a half day of neighborhood clean up on Wednesday, October 3. Choose Morning (9-1), All Day (9-5) or Afternoon (1-5). Lunch is provided.
This year, the project will mobilize another 10,000 volunteers on the same blocks near Central High School. This project week will go beyond blight removal. In response to the vision and requests of students and community residents, we will plant at least 1,000 trees and perennials, build community gardens, install little free libraries, designate the safest routes to schools with artwork, upgrade several parks, install new bus shelters and add neighborhood signage.
Please sign up at the GPMC front desk or go to bit.ly/liferemodeledgp by September 20. This will let us plan for carpools and meeting space at the event.
It’s going to be an experience to remember.
If you can’t come on Wednesday, Life Remodeled wants your help any day October 1-6. Go to LifeRemodeled.com and follow the volunteer links to sign up directly with them.
