Rebuilding Together and GPMC have developed a new partnership to help homeowners in the Jefferson Chalmers district. On Saturday, June 8 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, we are looking for 15-20 volunteers to join the Outreach Council in making repairs on a home on Tennessee (near Bayview and Maheras Park). We are calling our workday:
“The Day We Help Rosie”
We might build a handicap ramp, paint walls – inside or out, we might install handrails, repair walls or flooring, widen doorways, or a multitude of other building jobs that make her home more safe and secure.
We’ll have help and direction from Rebuilding Together. This organization has been working in Oakland County for years. They are now seeking to partner with homeowners in neighborhoods close to us!
