January 20 is an overview of the religious landscape of America. We have heard about the rise of the nones (people who are spiritual but not religious), but what else is going on in religion in America?
January 27 we host a visit from Kevin’s Song, a local non-profit responding to the rise of suicide in our country. Of the 40,000 deaths by gun in the United States in 2017, 60% were suicides. Kevin’s Song was founded in the wake of one family’s suicide and it is “dedicated to generating public awareness about the causes of suicide, its prevalence in our society and possible preventive measures.” For more about Kevin’s Song, go to https://kevinssong.org
