GPMC members and friends from all over Grosse Pointe are making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches – lots of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the elderly or homeless of Detroit.
We are delivering over 1,000 sandwiches per week. So we need a LOT of people to help. Deliveries sometimes happen five times a week.
You’ll sign up to make at least 20 sandwiches (more if you like), buy the bread plus some PB and J, make the delicious sandwiches, put them in baggies, and deliver them to a cooler on the front porch of a home in GPP.
There are helpful hints, and all the directions you need on this sign up page:
The good news is that people of all ages can make sandwiches so it’s a great group project, a great family project, a great “work from home” project.
