The Hunger Offering for December will go to Crossroads of Michigan.
Founded in 1971, Crossroads exists to support the community at large by providing emergency assistance such as transportation, food, and clothing. They have an employment office, parenting and cooking support classes, and provide counseling to anyone in need. They also have been serving a hot, nutritious meal to hungry families every Sunday since 1977 and have a children’s lunch program weekdays in the summer.
GPMC will match congregation donations made in November up to $2,000. Use this Offering Link or go to the GPMC Home Page and find the Weekly Offering. Either way, note that the Donation Recipient is GPMC Hunger Offering. Or, send a check to the church this month noting Salvation Army or Hunger Offering on the memo line.
And, if you would like to sign up to help us make and serve one of those Sunday lunches on December 13, just follow this link: GPMC and Rotary at Crossroads.
