Early notice – GPMC members and friends
We hoped for a rotating shelter here at GPMC this year, but it doesn’t work for our partner (yet). Cass Community Social Services will once again host the homeless at their location in Detroit.
But, we can still help to feed and care for the residents at Cass Community Social Services during what would have been our “traditional” Shelter week during the first week of November.
We’ll help with an All-Church Shelter Week Donation Drive instead (just as we did in 2020 and 2021).
We are collecting cereal, lunch supplies, laundry soap, toiletries, underclothes, and towels.
All supplies can be delivered to Grosse Pointe Memorial Church (16 Lakeshore Drive ) on
Friday, November 4th from 3:30-4:30 pm or Saturday, November 5th from 9:30-10:30 am.

Outreach members will be available at Middle Hour if you prefer to sign up then. Thanks in advance for ALWAYS standing ready to help.
If you are away that weekend, no problem! Email Sue Acton to schedule a different time to drop it off at the church.
Our chairs for this event: Jane Fox, Cheryl Littleton, or Julie Huellmantel would be happy to help with an early drop-off too!
