Gleaners Community Food Bank will receive our Hunger Offering for May.
They have a goal to provide households with access to sufficient, nutritious food and related resources.
They empower the people they serve through education, advocacy, access, and community engagement; building strong, collaborative partnerships with others in the community who also win when hunger is solved; setting best practices; and cultivating and fostering an energizing and spirited workforce. Gleaners serves Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, and Livingston Counties by distributing more than 43 million pounds a food a year to nearly 500 partner agencies.
