Halloween Concert
Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 3 pm
Organist, Logan Hamilton presents a Halloween Organ Concert featuring iconic, spooky repertoire, as well as new music and arrangements that invoke the sinister spirit of the season. Works by JS Bach, Vierne, Duruflé, contemporary American composer James Mobberly, and original arrangements will be presented. A light reception will be held afterwards.
Christmas in Blue
Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 3 pm
The Sanctuary Choir of Grosse Pointe Memorial Church partners with local Michigan jazz musicians to present an afternoon of carols arranged by renowned sacred jazz composer, Will Todd. The concert will feature Todd’s collection of Jazz Carols and other Christmas works, along with opportunities for audience participation. A light reception will be held afterwards.
In Living Color
Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 3 pm
The Sanctuary Choir of Grosse Pointe Memorial Church and Organist, Logan Hamilton present an afternoon of choral and organ music composed by Black American composers, and the traditions of the African-American Spiritual. The concert will feature Adolphus Hailstrok’s I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes with Tenor soloist, Michael Fowler, as well as Florence Price’s Communion Service in F along with other works that celebrate Black composers as a concluding observance of Black History Month. A light reception will be held afterwards.
Wei Yu and Keun–A Lee in Concert

Dynamic duo Wei Yu (Principal Cellist of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra) and Keun-A Lee (Keyboardist for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra) featured in concert! Yu and Lee are resident favorites at GPMC and are thrilled to be back to offer a diverse program of new repertoire and time-honored favorites written for cello and piano.
Telegraph Quartet and Amy I–Lin Cheng in Concert

The Telegraph String Quartet and pianist Amy I-Lin Cheng join forces to present an afternoon of chamber music. The Telegraph Quartet are internationally known for their reputation of performing both new, contemporary works, as well as classics from the long repertoire for string quartet. Dr. Cheng, sought out for her vast versatility as a collaborative pianist, makes for a perfect pairing of musical strengths. Both Dr. Cheng and the Telegraph Quartet are part of the University of Michigan’s music faculty.
