The scripture for our 2026 Stewardship Campaign, draws from Daniel 12:3: “Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever.”
Dear Grosse Pointe Memorial Church Family,
This year marks a remarkable milestone in the life of our congregation—160 years of faithful ministry, worship, and witness. From our earliest days, Grosse Pointe Memorial Church has been a place where the light of Christ has shone brightly through generations of faithful members.
As we celebrate this legacy, we give thanks to all who have come before us, whose faith, service, and generosity built the foundation upon which we now stand. Their lives, like stars in the sky, have illuminated the path for us and continue to inspire our mission today.
As we look to the future, we are called not only to remember our rich history, but also to actively participate in God’s unfolding story. Your stewardship makes it possible for our church to offer vibrant worship, nurture our children and youth, care for our neighbors, and be a light of hope in an ever-changing world. Through your gifts, we continue to shine—brightly, boldly, and faithfully.
As we honor 160 years of ministry, we invite you to prayerfully consider how you will support GPMC in the year ahead. Your financial commitment—helps ensure that our light does not dim but grows stronger for future generations. May we, together, reflect the brilliance of God’s love and continue to shine like stars—now and always.
With gratitude and hope,
Rev. Dr. Jeff Lincicome
