Fused Glass Workshop

On Thursday, April 18, Makers at Memorial is hosting a fused glass workshop from 6 – 8 pm at the church. Join us for a fun experience working with fused glass!

During the workshop led by Fired and Fused, out of Royal Oak, you will learn basic glass fusing and cutting techniques. They will walk you through how to cut and nip colorful pieces of glass that you will stack on a base piece of glass to create your unique design.

Pieces will be finished off-site as they need to be fired and slumped in a kiln. They will return to the church two weeks later for pickup.

No experience necessary! All tools and material will be provided.

Prices range depending on the project selected.

Choices are:

  • 4″ dish = $32
  • 4″ x 8″ dish = $50
  • 6″ dish, vase = $50
  • 8″ plate, bowl, vase = $70
  • 8″ x 12″ Charcuterie board = $75
  • Wind Chimes = $75
  • 11″ x 11″ dish, vase = $95

Payment will be taken at the workshop. The sign-up will say “FREE” because we are not taking payment until the day of the workshop. They accept cash, check or charge.
