GPMC’s Hunger Offering recipient this month is CASS Community Social Services.
CASS prepares and serves 700,000 meals a year to those experiencing homelessness and/or living in poverty. Their food is sourced from their community gardens and food rescuers like Gleaners and Forgotten Harvest, faith–based organizations, schools, corporate groups, and fraternities/sororities. With these partners, CASS is able to provide healthy and well–balanced meals every day of the week.
Use the blue pew envelopes, give through the secure donation form, or send a check to the church this month noting “CASS” or “Hunger Offering” on the memo line. The Outreach Council will match congregation donations made this month up to $2,000.
