It’s Back to School time and some of the students in the Grosse Pointe Public School System need our help. GPPSS has students with very few resources: homeless students and students in foster care. One way for these students to continue to have a great education is to make sure they have the same school supplies as the rest of the students.
I know we have parents who miss school shopping for their own, or parents who would be happy to make this a project for their own students.
You don’t even have to be a parent – just have a desire to help a child in need. The list includes supplies for all ages, K-12, choose whatever items you like, we are counting on the power of the spirit to make sure it’s “enough.”
Please drop off supplies by August 21 so they can be sorted for students by the first day of school. Here’s the list with a printable pdf below (or pick up a list in the church lobby):
