Trinity Terrace 2.0 Project

The Session is excited to announce a new fundraising campaign aimed at enhancing our church offerings and beautifying our beloved Trinity Terrace. This initiative is not only about improving our physical space but also about enriching our spiritual experience and fellowship.

We invite you to join us for a celebration of giving as we raise funds for the renovation of Trinity Terrace and leave our legacy for years to come! It’ll be a night of food, festivities, and fellowship. The party will be held at the home of Marshall and Leslie Vyletel on Thursday, July 18 from 6 – 8 pm. Sign up through SignUp Genius, or with the church office while space is available!

What does Trinity Terrace 2.0 look like?

  • New gazebo on the upper terrace, providing coverage for bible studies, groups, musicians, etc.
  • Ample shade provided by a new sail canopy system
  • New Terrace entrance to match the rest of our facility and provide a beautiful gateway onto the property
  • Enhanced landscaping to beautify the Terrace
  • An outdoor kitchen for all church fellowship, youth events, and campouts
  • New playground equipment for children
  • Covered gazebo on the lake to provide a space for people of all ages to meet

You’ll be hearing more about this project throughout the month of July, but here are some FAQs on this exciting project!

What is the total cost of this project?
Initial costs for the project are budgeted for $500,000 with the hope of exceeding the goal to enhance the offerings.

How long is this construction going to take?
Construction is targeted to begin in fall 2024 with completion in time for the 2025 summer services.

What is our timeline?
The fundraising campaign is slated for this summer through 9/15. 2–year commitments are also welcome.

How do we make our pledge?
Email GPMC Treasurer Dave Buckler at dbuckler@gpmchurch.org, or Fundraising Chair Joe Kaiser at jpkaiser5@universalpiping.com with the subject line “Trinity Terrace 2.0.”

Why should we do this?
By both adding to the usability and esthetics of Trinity Terrace we will contribute to our legacy as a beacon of light by the lakeshore.

Will donors be recognized?
Yes, we are planning to celebrate everyone who contributes to this project in the form of a plaque on the upgraded Terrace, with the opportunity to remain anonymous if one chooses.

Can we earmark our donation – or fully contribute – toward a specific area of the Terrace project?
Yes, if you feel passionate about a certain area of the project or would like to donate the total expected cost (i.e. fully fund the gazebo), your donation can be dedicated in this manner, either anonymously or publicly.
